Jain Acharya Tulsi (Founder of Jain Vishwa Bharati)
Acharya Tulsi, born on October 20, 1914, in Ladnun, Rajasthan, was a prominent Jain monk and the founder of Jain Vishva Bharati University. He initiated the Anuvrat Movement in 1949 to promote ethical living and nonviolence. Acharya Tulsi was the ninth Acharya of the Jain Shwetambar Terapanth sect and was instrumental in modernizing Jain education and philosophy.
