Biography

Ramakrishna Paramahansa was born on February 18, 1836, in Kamarpukur, Bengal. He was a renowned mystic and spiritual leader who played a pivotal role in the revival of Hinduism in Bengal. Ramakrishna’s spiritual experiences and devotion attracted numerous disciples, the most prominent being Swami Vivekananda. He emphasized the realization of God through direct personal experience and was known for his inclusive approach to different religious paths. Ramakrishna passed away on August 16, 1886.
